Russ Kendrick Martin crafts a cinematic, grit-infused sound he calls Americana Noir. Fusing the character-driven storytelling of the rural Midwest with the driving groove of Roots Rock, Blues, and Southern Rock, Martin’s music feels hauntingly familiar. 

At times lighthearted, and at other times stark and visceral, Martin strips the songs down to their raw essentials, delivering a live show that features heavy doses of heartland soul and dark-edged Americana.
